The founding members of The Smyrna Band, Ron Thompson and Tim Bode have been ministering together since the mid-70’s. The current line-up includes Dallas Gennerich, who has been involved in the ministry for over ten years. The Smyrna Band plays a variety of styles including Blues, Pop, Folk Rock, Worship Music and Country. The 3-part harmonies they are known for is keystone to their sound. The band consists of two acoustic guitars and electric bass. They are available for all types of ministry situations from concerts to picnics and festivals to worship services. The Smyrna Band appeals to audiences of every age group from children to seniors. Their focus is on the uplifting of the Body of Christ and to proclaiming Jesus to a lost and dying world.
